VOLUNTEER INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE (VITA) PROGRAM in Partnership with the City of Los Angeles.

Through April 15, 2021 DirectedLINK, LLC in partnership with 1736 Family Crisis Center in Los Angeles will provide free income tax preparation through the VITA PROGRAM to assist individuals and families, earning $56,000 or less in 2020. The program prepares State and Federal income tax returns for FREE. DirectedLINK is excited to continue its partnership with the City of Los Angeles to provided assistance during the pandemic.

DIrectedLINK, LLC in Partnership with Family Source, Los Angeles Housing Community, and Free Tax Prep LA will offer free tax preparing services this current tax season.

Please bring the following:

• Two forms of ID (Social Security card, Photo ID)

• Social Security card for all dependents on the tax return

• All W2s, 1099s, etc…any documents that may pertain to completing a tax return

• VOIDED check for direct deposit of any refund that may be received

• Copy of your last year’s return

What's New? The CalEITC is now worth up to $3,027 and available to undocumented taxpayers with ITIN. The Young Child Tax Credit is an additional $1,000 for each dependent under 6 years old to families that qualify for CalEITC.

Taxpayers with reduced federal EITC due to job loss and unemployment benefits may claim 2019 EITC amounts on their 2020 tax return.
